Terms of Service
The terms that govern use of the ShiftMint platform by workers and employers.
Agreement
By registering or using ShiftMint you agree to these terms. Workers use the employee dashboard; employers use the employer dashboard. Administrators manage verification, billing and compliance.
Accounts and verification
You must provide accurate information. Workers aged 18 and over may register; our platform focuses on young flexible talent. Employers must complete business verification, accept service terms and provide bank details before publishing shifts.
Shifts and applications
Employers create shifts through the employer panel. Workers browse open shifts and submit applications, optionally including a cover letter. Employers review applications and confirm cover. Both parties must honour agreed shift times and conduct.
Fees and payment
Employers are invoiced for completed shifts according to agreed rates, mark-up rules and service fees configured on the platform. Payment terms apply as stated during employer onboarding. Workers receive pay through payslips issued after approved timesheets.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the platform, circumvent verification, harass other users, or upload unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or applicable law.
Liability
ShiftMint provides a matching and administration platform. Employers remain responsible for workplace health and safety and statutory obligations at their premises. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under UK law.
